Blockchain Developer in Training

Hey, I'm
Darshan.

Building on Web3. Learning every block.

I'm a blockchain developer on the rise — deep in Solidity, smart contracts, and the decentralized stack. No projects shipped yet, but the foundation is being laid, one block at a time.

Decentralized
from day one.

I'm Darshan, a developer based in India, currently going deep on blockchain technology. I believe the next era of the internet is being written in Solidity and Rust, and I want to be one of the people writing it.

Right now I'm in the learning phase — studying smart contract architecture, EVM internals, token standards, and DeFi protocols. No big deployments yet, but every line of code I write gets me closer.

I'm hungry, consistent, and building in public. The chain is being assembled.

The Stack.

These are the technologies I'm actively learning and building fluency in. Progress bars reflect honest self-assessment, not resume fluff.

I'm currently building my first projects. These are the ones queued up in the mempool — watch this space.

Building
SimpleToken ERC-20
A bare-bones ERC-20 token contract with mint, burn, and transfer logic. My first real Solidity deployment on a testnet — learning OpenZeppelin and gas optimization as I go.

NFT Minting Contract
An ERC-721 NFT collection with on-chain metadata, whitelist minting, and royalty support. Will include a simple mint UI and deploy to a public testnet.

Mini DeFi Vault
A yield-bearing vault contract where users deposit tokens and earn proportional rewards. Inspired by Yearn-style architecture, but stripped down to the core logic.

The Journey.

Where I've been, where I am, and where I'm going in blockchain development.

Phase 01 · Completed
The Foundation
Learned JavaScript and TypeScript. Got comfortable with programming fundamentals, data structures, and async patterns. Understood how the internet works at an HTTP level.
Phase 02 · Completed
Blockchain Theory
Studied how Bitcoin and Ethereum work under the hood — consensus mechanisms (PoW, PoS), the EVM, gas, wallets, cryptography basics, and the Merkle tree structure.
Phase 03 · Active now
Solidity & Smart Contracts
Writing and testing smart contracts in Solidity. Deploying to Sepolia testnet. Learning security patterns (reentrancy, overflow guards) and gas optimization techniques.
Phase 04 · Coming next
Full-Stack dApp Development
Building end-to-end: smart contracts + frontend (React + Ethers.js + MetaMask). Deploying real projects to mainnet forks and eventually public networks.
Phase 05 · Planned
DeFi & Protocol Engineering
Deep-diving into AMMs, lending protocols, yield vaults, and cross-chain infrastructure. Contributing to open-source Web3 projects and auditing smart contracts.
Phase 06 · The goal
Professional Blockchain Developer
Full-time blockchain engineer, building infrastructure that thousands of users interact with. Contributing to protocols that matter. This is the block I'm mining toward.

Let's Connect.

I'm open to learning opportunities, collaborations, internships, or just connecting with fellow builders in the Web3 space.
